zzz got into the country! did not get through registration and stuff because even though we were escorted to school from the airport we came in too late and everyone was packing up. oh well!
biscoff biscuits are so good oh man I wonder if they have the spread! that is the best! :9
offshore wind farms! I did a paper on those and it's one of those rare essays I'm actually proud of so I'm weirdly happy to be seeing them off of amsterdam.
I miss gorillaz a lot sometimes... listening to blur on the bus makes you feel super british 8)
I uploaded some cute things i took pics of before britain too. and now jet! lag! sleep!!

I never knew what a duvet is until I used this one in my bedding pack. it is pretty cute and comfy! it's like sleeping under a large flat pillow...? I don't know haha.
also I guess I didn't know until just now that the flat I applied for is like the only one that's off-campus, and it would take an hour to walk there. on the bright side, it is located near the river and it's right in the middle of the city and next to the markets, which means shopping all day every day!! actually now that I think about it that might not be a very bright side, I still have a problem. mmmaybe I will just. try.
the buses here are super neat! almost all of them are double-deckers, especially the ones that go to school. I will be riding on the top deck every day!
two cute british guys were playing idrum to an owl city remix in the markets today. man, I'm so happy to be here 8)
took a tour around campus and town. this place is so amazing, but I didn't take too many pics. soon! also on the tour of the city there were a few rats jumping around near the train station, it was pretty surprising but it did remind me of this song.
they even played it once in a tree!
the union food outlet on campus is called the ufo for short. the tour guide made a lame joke about it not lighting up and taking off into the sky though. a hit-and-miss at british humor!
also, took a bath for the first time in like years. it's been years since I've had access to a tub!... sea baths don't count. weirdly it kinda reminds me of being in a tidepool. I miss islands, haha.

oh no just realized hulu doesn't work here... aw 8(
I'm a little annoyed that a lot of shops close at 6pm! isn't that a little early! but that's my opinion. by the time orientation stuff is over it was about that time, so... I don't know, it just seems weird.
